The concept
WÖHR + BAUER intends to contribute to the preservation of the retail location with the purchase and corresponding investments. Comprehensive modernisation will significantly increase the attractiveness of the location. The greatest challenge with a retail property is always to carry out the refurbishment within a tight timeframe during ongoing business operations and to minimise disruption to customers.
The result
As part of the refurbishment, a large window front will be installed on the first floor, creating an eye-catching feature visible from afar. A massive canopy will be removed to allow more light and transparency. The energy efficiency of the building will be significantly improved by a modern ventilation and cooling system.
WÖHR + BAUER succeeded in implementing the changeover within a tight timeframe and with minimal disruption to customers.
