Our sustainability principles
At WÖHR + BAUER, we have always placed a sense of social and environmental responsibility at the forefront of our daily activities and have set ourselves ESG targets against which we are measured.
Our goals
WÖHR + BAUER is committed to making its contribution in accordance with the Paris Climate Agreement to limit global warming to 1.5°C. The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are integrated into WÖHR + BAUER's strategy and sustainable actions.
We pursue this goal with various measures. These include:
CO2 reduction
Our business operations are carbon neutral. We also analyse our real estate projects and have derived a reduction target and additional ESG standards, in addition to the already high requirements (e.g. LEED Gold certification) for our projects.
Tenant and employee satisfaction
Tenant and employee satisfaction is important to us. We measure this through an annual online survey. We want to retain our tenants and employees for the long term.
Regulations and reporting
We regularly report on the achievement of our sustainability goals and continually adapt our strategy. Our employees are regularly informed about innovations and receive training. Sustainable behaviour is anchored in our WÖHR + BAUER corporate guidelines.
Active ESG-Management
WÖHR + BAUER has established an active sustainability and ESG management team with Franziska Steinke as Sustainability Manager to further strengthen the key ESG aspects of sustainability, social awareness and responsible corporate governance within the company and in our projects.
