WÖHR + BAUER: Vogt becomes a fellow shareholder

The Wöhr and Roeck families strategically position the group of companies for the future

  • WÖHR + BAUER is adapting to changing market requirements
  • Service Development and Residential segments are being strategically expanded
  • After more than 20 years with the company, long-standing Managing Director Oliver Vogt becomes a shareholder

WÖHR + BAUER is consistently continuing to develop its strategic direction. In addition to its successful project development activities, the company is strategically expanding its Service Development and Residential segments, thereby laying the foundations for sustainable growth in a changing real estate market. At the same time, the shareholder families Wöhr and Roeck are enabling Managing Director Oliver Vogt to acquire a stake in the company.

The Wöhr and Roeck families have given long-standing Managing Director Oliver Vogt (53), who has been with the company for more than two decades and has been part of its management for nearly ten years, a two-percent stake in the company and admitted him to the circle of shareholders. The trained civil engineer and real estate economist has also been involved on the executive board of the Central Real Estate Committee (ZIA) for several years and, since the beginning of the year, has served as spokesperson for the Southern Region. With this decision, the shareholders are sending a clear signal of continuity and trust.

“The further development of our business models is a significant step in our long-term corporate strategy, and the admission of Oliver Vogt to the circle of shareholders is equally consistent,” explains Wolfgang Roeck, shareholder and Managing Director of WÖHR + BAUER. “Oliver has advanced our company over the past more than 20 years with great commitment, entrepreneurial thinking and personal dedication, and enjoys everyone’s trust. I am very pleased to know that in the future he will be at my side not only as Managing Director, but also as a fellow shareholder.”

“Being a fellow shareholder means taking long-term responsibility for the future of our company. I am very grateful to the Wöhr and Roeck families for this,” says Oliver Vogt. “In recent years, we have consistently continued to develop WÖHR + BAUER and focused on future-oriented topics at an early stage. Our current projects and leasing successes confirm this course. Together with our employees, partners and customers, we want to consistently continue along this path.”

The WÖHR + BAUER management team around Wolfgang Roeck, Oliver Vogt and Dr. Tim Malonn has recognized the transformation of the real estate market and aligned the company with changing market requirements. The most recent milestones include, above all, the new Neulichterfelde residential quarter in Berlin’s Steglitz-Zehlendorf district, which WÖHR + BAUER is developing together with Berlin housing company degewo, as well as the Service Development mandate for the expansion and redesign of Stadtsparkasse Augsburg’s headquarters. In addition, the company has successfully positioned itself in the market with sophisticated inner-city district developments, revitalizations and high-quality office developments.

With these strategic decisions, the Wöhr and Roeck families are underscoring their ambition to continue positioning WÖHR + BAUER as an owner-managed real estate company with a long-term perspective, short decision-making paths and sustainable entrepreneurial action.
