FALCKENBERG ENSEMBLE: Update

The ensemble is taking shape

By mid-2026, the FALCKENBERG ENSEMBLE is increasingly taking shape and urban repair is becoming tangible: With two new urban townhouses in the Graggenau district, an urban ensemble is emerging that integrates sensitively into its historic surroundings – while simultaneously setting new standards for urban quality of stay and a vibrant part of Munich.

As usual, our current film offers some insights:

  • The historic connection between Tal and Maximilianstraße, with its new, inviting squares, is already becoming apparent.
  • Interior finishing, window installation on the upper floors, as well as roof sealing and roof structures are progressing rapidly.
  • The connections to the electricity, water and district heating networks have already been completed.
  • The installation of the façade substructure is creating the foundation for the characteristic building envelope. In autumn, we will begin laying the tiles – the fine ceramic skin that will gain its nuances through varying degrees of surface gloss.

And here is a brief look ahead
In autumn 2026, we will begin laying the tiles – the fine ceramic skin that will gain its nuances through varying degrees of surface gloss. First, the light-colored upper floors will be completed; their relief-like surface will make the façade appear vibrant depending on the incidence of light. As construction progresses, the dark green shimmering base will follow, giving the building its distinctive foundation. Finely coordinated surface gloss levels subtly accentuate the cornices and parapets, lending the façade additional depth and elegance. At the same time, the installation of the large-format glass façades for the prestigious restaurant and retail spaces on the ground floor will begin – another milestone on the way to vibrant ground-floor zones and a lively new district in the heart of Munich.

Vibrant ground-floor zones for a lively district
While the modern offices and residences have already been fully allocated, our attention is now turning to the ground-floor zones. Selected retail and restaurant concepts are to be created here, bringing the district, its new squares and pathways to life and making the FALCKENBERG ENSEMBLE an exciting part of Munich’s city center.
