MERGENTHALER: Leasing success
D-Link relocates its German headquarters to the MERGENTHALER
- D-Link, manufacturer of IP-based networking solutions, signs lease at the MERGENTHALER
- Office leasing rate of 60% achieved
D-Link (Deutschland) GmbH, an internationally active technology leader for IP-based networking solutions, has been secured as another tenant for the MERGENTHALER. The company will relocate its German headquarters to the comprehensively revitalized building and occupy approximately 470 sqm of office space. The transaction was brokered by Angermann Real Estate Advisory.
With this lease, the MERGENTHALER has reached an occupancy rate of approximately 60% and underscores its appeal to forward-looking companies from a wide range of industries. Previously, Jack Wolfskin had already decided to relocate its German headquarters to the site, taking over more than 6,000 sqm.
The MERGENTHALER stands for a new generation of office buildings: sustainable construction, state-of-the-art technical infrastructure, and flexible space concepts meet excellent accessibility in the Rhine-Main region.
“With the MERGENTHALER, we have chosen a modern, connected, and sustainable working environment. The building's technical equipment and the flexibility of the spaces provide us with ideal conditions for the further development of our German business. At the same time, we value the growing community of innovative companies in the building, which creates an inspiring and forward-looking environment,” says Ting-jung Chen, Managing Director of D-Link (Deutschland) GmbH.
The building has been comprehensively revitalized and achieves a quality in key areas that goes beyond that of a conventional new-build property. Final energy demand is approximately 68% lower than that of a comparable new building. The energy supply is completely fossil-free. Certifications such as LEED “Platinum” and WiredScore “Platinum” underscore the high quality standards.
“The lease to D-Link underscores that high-quality and technologically future-ready office space is no longer in demand only in city-center locations. At the MERGENTHALER, we offer qualities that go beyond conventional new-build standards in many areas – and at economically attractive terms. More and more companies are consciously choosing locations that offer a compelling overall package of quality, sustainability, and efficiency,” explains Sven Kübler, Head of Leasing Management at WÖHR + BAUER.
