WÖHR + BAUER: Company Anniversary
35 Years WÖHR + BAUER. TOGETHER. SHAPING. LIVING SPACE.
In 1991, WÖHR Autoparksysteme GmbH and Bauer Spezialtiefbau GmbH laid the foundation for the company we are today.
35 years later, we look back with gratitude and also a little pride at numerous milestones in our company history:
1990s – Innovative parking solutions: WÖHR’s technical expertise and Bauer’s specialist foundation engineering expertise form the basis for the first joint projects.
From 1996 – From service provider to project developer: The development of our own real estate projects begins with an initial residential development in Leimen. Underground car park projects follow, as does commercial project development from 2000 onward.
2000s – Project developer for new-build developments: WÖHR + BAUER focuses on the development of commercial properties and large-volume underground car parks.
2010s – Project developer for existing properties as well: The company expands its range of activities to include the sustainable revitalization of existing properties.
2020s – Family-run real estate company: WÖHR + BAUER is increasingly expanding its commitment as an investor as well.
2022 – Expansion of the management team: Oliver Vogt becomes Managing Director of WÖHR + BAUER. As Managing Director of WÖHR + BAUER Asset Management GmbH, Dr. Tim Malonn takes responsibility for expanding the business with existing properties and partners.
2022 – Reorganization of the shareholder structure: The Wöhr and Roeck families acquire BAUER AG’s shares and restructure the ownership interests.
2024 – Expansion of the business model: WÖHR + BAUER expands its range of services to include asset management for institutional investors and family offices.
2025/2026 Project developer for residential properties: WÖHR + BAUER is taking on one of the greatest challenges of our time: housing. With the expanded Berlin team, experience, market knowledge, and implementation expertise, the company aims to create new momentum in this area. After more than 20 years with the company, long-standing Managing Director Oliver Vogt becomes a co-shareholder
