The two vacant office buildings in Eschborn, near Frankfurt am Main, were acquired with a large backlog of modernisation and refurbishment work to reposition and revitalise them under the motto 'Mergenthaler Connects'.
The concept
The concept
The aim was to offer attractive value for money to attract price-sensitive tenants who value design and modern office space. The building services have been completely refurbished and the properties have been repositioned in such a way that the 'Design Your Own Office' (DYO) concept leaves all doors open to future tenants for customised solutions.
The result
The Mergenthaler Connects office buildings have been extensively modernised. Enterprise Car Rental, for example, has established its German headquarters here. Within the planned holding period of less than three years, Mergenthaler Connects was sold with an average lease term of just under eight years and an occupancy rate of around 90 percent.
